After many contacts through my blog, many interviews by Skype or by phone, I am glad to let you know that I found an intenship in Sydney ! I will be starting my internship in January 2010. I was thrilled to find out that I had been chosen for this position. I am really looking forward to starting this new experience.

I would like to thank the company which will welcome me soon, and say thank you to all the companies which have contacted me through this blog or by others means.

Management consulting indicates both the industry of, and the practice of, helping organizations improve their performance, primarily through the analysis of existing business problems and development of plans for improvement.

Organizations hire the services of management consultants for a number of reasons, including gaining external (and presumably objective) advice, access to the consultants' specialized expertise, or simply as extra temporary help during a one-time project, where the hiring of more permanent employees is not required.

Consultancies may also provide organizational change management assistance, development of coaching skills, technology implementation, strategy development, or operational improvement services. Management consultants generally bring their own, proprietary methodologies or frameworks to guide the identification of problems, and to serve as the basis for recommendations for more effective or efficient ways of performing business tasks.

Risk Analysis, as a component of risk management, consists of several things :

- Identification of possible negative external and internal conditions, events or situations.

- Determination of cause-and-effect (causal) relationships between probable happenings, their magnitude and likely outcomes.

- Evaluation of various outcomes under different assumptions, and under different probabilities that each outcome will take place.

-Application of qualitative and quantitative techniques to reduce uncertainty of the outcomes and associated costs, liabilities or losses.

The Corporate Finance department is the division of the company that is concerned with the financial operation of the company. In most businesses, corporate finance focuses on raising money for various projects or ventures. For investment banks and similar corporations, corporate finance focuses on the analysis of corporate acquisitions and other decisions.

As a multi-tasking person, I am interested in many lines of business.

I have already graduated from a two-year degree in management and commerce, and I also have a certificate of political studies, I am currently studying a master degree in International business and corporate finance. My competences and my interests range from human resources, finance/accounting to marketing. I have been formed in a French Business School which trains us to become skilled and efficient person. So I am writing to offer my help in one of these fields.

In my home country (France), we must perform well for a company to graduate from a master degree. This enables us to be more competitive on the labour market. An internship abroad is even more appreciated.

An Internship is an unpaid work experience covering a period of time of 6 months. (compensation is offered to the intern depending on skills and outcome for the company).
Internships are non-taxable and a simple contract between the intern, the intern's university and the company has to be signed. No other papers are required, it's an easy process!
